WEEKLY PRAYER

Contact: Frances Pullen

2 Chronicles 7:14

Statement

The prayer ministry covers the church body, the surrounding community and the concerns of its members in prayer. Core to our beliefs as a church is the idea that we serve a God who listens to, answers and speaks through our prayers. Thus we constantly serve to both pray for this community and to serve as a reminder to the church of the importance of our prayers. Prayer changes things. Our prayers touch issues big and small, we pray in times of great joy and great sorry, for issues that affect us directly or that affect people we will never meet.  We pray because we believe in the importance of sharing all with our God who is able.  The prayer ministry meets weekly for a specific time of prayer, operates the prayer room after each service and convenes a specific small group to conduct intercessory prayer.
